So recently I moved from the epicenter of canyon roads and race tracks (SoCal) to the flattest and straightest place on the face of the plant I believe. Although I'm here in the Florida Pan Handle (panama city beach) for a damn good reason and its only temporary I am deeply saddened by the fact that the riding is so lame. I needed to vent, seems most of the sportbike crowd around here is more into lowing and stretching bikes rather than riding them and don't seem to understand my anguish.
I know your pain, I spent 3 months there last year and even though I didn't take my bike, I noticed that everything was about the bling and less about the performance.
If you want to be a poser and cruise down 98 at 10 mph, than it's a great place to be.
Welcome to Florida...the hot girls in bikins are our only hills. Actually down here in Orlando we have some really good elevation and curvy roads just about 30 miles west of us in the middle of the state (Clermont area). But in Panama City you aren't that far from JenningsGP...it's the premier scooter track in the state for track days, etc. Check it out: JenningsGP

Be careful on the bridge connecting PCB to PC. If your not mindful of the wind gusts coming off of the gulf, you will very easily be pushed into another lane...secondly, the police sit right at the bottom and to your immediate right of the bridge as your heading away from PCB (heading east).
