Bye bye my sweetheart.

We have had many fantastic and wonderful times together, but we both knew this moment would come. It's not you, honest, you've done nothing wrong. Every morning, come rain or shine, hail or sleet, ice and snow, you have started perfectly without complaint and carried me to our destination without hesitation. The stickiness of your tyres and the sexiness of your ABS and DTC have always filled me with inspiration and confidence. Even that horrible time last year when that fu**er of a cager tried to rip apart, we couldn't be separated.

But...but...there is another I'm sorry to say. Yes, she is a bit younger than you, but it's not that! Yes, she handles slightly better than you, but it's not that. Yes, she is wearing slightly more fashionable colours than you but it's not that.

It's hard to explain, perhaps it's better not to try and just to remember the good times - the screaming up above 9000rpm, leant over together in a perfect corner, the endless hours of caressing in the garage oh we could go on...

Whatever - I've just traded my 2010 silver s1000rr in for a 2012 motor-sport colousr s1000rr. Really good deal as everyone seems to be waiting for a 2013 model or a HP4.

Let the good times continue.

No pics yet. She is a bit shy. Hopefully have some in a week or so when she feels a bit more comfortable exposing herself in public. (I.e. when I pick her up!)

I'm also thinking about trading in my 2010 motorsports for a 2013 motorsports (the dealer by me only has one 2012 and it's the fireblue). I've had many a good mile on my 2010, but the I like the changes in the 2012/2013 model years.
