Does anyone have a GS adventure ?

Does anyone on here have a GSA in addition to their SK1? If so, which bike do you ride more often? Thanks!

I have a 2012 S1KRR and a 2011 GSA. Unfortunately I don't have time to ride either much with a 6 month old at home but they are two totally different bikes. The GSA is the do it all bike but the S1kRR is just more condensed fun

can't stand the GSA. That's the loaner I get whenever my S1K gets serviced, and it just feels far too big for me to control. Maybe if I rode it every day I'd get used to it, but I'm not a fan of the Boxer twin feel either.

It's not the worst bike in the world, but I usually ride my S1K and find it to be a near do-it-all bike. Literally, the only thing it can't do as a daily rider is do shopping/grocery runs (for which I take my Ducati or drive my Audi).

I have an RT does that count? I also have a Dorsoduro which I ride Triple as much (3 times) more than the S1000RR, it's just that much fun to ride!

I've had a GSA since 2005 (was my only bike other than another I am restoring until this year) and it still sees the most use in actual mileage but I also do multi day tours with it and it is also most accessible for me to get to in the garage. K1300S is second, with the S1000 right behind it. GSA is a great all arounder if you aren't addicted to S1000 power or the lighter weight.

I've got a gs,and its a great all around bike. Mostly commuting and two up, and yeah,a little dirt roading.

I've looked at the new GS's that BMW has and they are just as expensive as an S1K, at least over here in Colorado. But the dealership I goes to sells a lot more GS's than they do S1Ks.

Maybe I'll pick one up on the used market.

I have a 2011 GSA, I will jump on the s1000 more than the GSA if I have them at one location. I mostly keep tHe GSA at my house and the s1000 at my girlfriends. Forces me to get on the GSA but I ride long trips and the GSA is the choice.
The 1000 more often...
The GSA longer....

Thanks all. I keep contemplating getting on the dirt a bit and longer rides and my dealer threatened me that if I got on his demo GSA, there was no way I would walk out without buying one lol. I might have to take it for a spin! I want my next bike to be a Swiss army knife of sorts and I'm glad I got to hear from folks who love this SK1 because if you ride the GSA more often, that tells me a lot because this bike is bliss!
