Default early canadian model vin?! help!

So, I'm parting my race bike I bought from Canada as a salvage. It had a VIN sticker but was never stamped. Should it be stamped? It had a VIN sticker but now thats gone too...must've got hot and now its gone. It was there because I've decoded it before. Now what?! I have paperwork and pics on it but now how do I proceed with getting it tagged? Seems the place where the VIN should be stamped is just a smooth piece of aluminum... Help.

07/10 has a sticker only, no stamp. Hope that helps.

Yes it does! Thank you. Is the section machined down or showing raw aluminum where it should be stamped?

Ok. Thanx. I figured out that my vin sticker ripped and the vin is gone... I'll never understand why the Canadian frames aren't stamped! I must've ripped it pulling the race bodywork on and off as its a tight fit. I have all the paperwork and pics of the actual sticker before it was ripped so I need to see if BMW can get me a new sticker. Thanx.
