hot frame no more
finally got 2012-specific carbon frame covers, and attaching them was easy - 3M VHB double-sided tape. This left a 2-3mm gap between the carbon shell and the frame.
had a good chance to test it, as we got a few days of 80 degree weather here in Nashville. with bare hands, the carbon frame covers were warm to the touch. touching my fingertips to the bare frame practically burned my fingertips.
so there you go. if you have issues with the hot frame, the solution is quick and easy.
