58cycle and Newegg sell parts?

Was gonna post this in appearance as my question was originally about the quality of carbon fiber parts. I am looking for a carbon fiber front fender and Google came up with these sites. Amazingly, they are 50% of what the regular prices are but it almost sounds too good. Is carbon fiber the same or is there different grades?

There can DEFINITELY be a LOT of difference between your top of the line CF and the bottom of the line and the process in which they use to make it. From vacuum bagging to the expensive machines they mold them with to the types of impregnated CF material used.

There is a happy medium though, you just have to find what you're going to be satisfied with.

Looks like the parts come from Tekarbon BMW Carbon Fiber Front Fender S1000RR (09-10) :: TEKARBON

I have no idea about their production methods or part quality, but I can say that other vendors are nowhere near as good as Ilmberger.

Here's a thread from a Ducati forum about Tekarbon Tekarbon - Ducati.ms - The Ultimate Ducati Forum Opinions were mixed, I guess it depends on your expectations.
