Default Don't go buying the R&G tail tidy !!!

(on the 2012 s1000)

Piece of crap broke twice on me and had to be re-welded.
I even re-enforced it with thin steel, to no benefit!!!

Can anybody recommend the best "adjustable" one so i can keep my plate flipped up when i feel like gunning it?

James

James,

R&G tail tidy is not ment to be bent all the time (or at all for that matter). Any metal can withstand only certain ammount of "bents" or "adjustments" if you will. If you're looking for an adjustable tailtidy, there are brands made specifically for that purpose - "gunning it" or "running toll booths"
I have R&G tail tidy on mine and can not say anything bad about it.
The only negative thing I have to say about R&G it's that their CS doesn't reply to emails, at all! Other then that, their products are high quality ones and pretty durable. Have lots of R&G staff on my bike, so I know.
One of the options:
Motorcycle Adjustable Folding License Plate Holder Tail Light Bracket Mount Bike | eBay

Oh damn,... what a mistake you made, not me.

You just need to learn how to ride a taller wheelie when you don't want your license to be seen. What's wrong with you bro?

Gotta say, I have the R&G on mine too and it's fine. I think it's great for the money.
