What is wrong with launching this S1000RR?

Did anyone face a similar problem like this S1000RR below?

we tried to help the owner & asked him few questions regarding this issue and below is his answer for these questions.

- Sensor on wheel is likely bad or out of alignment ?
his answer: The wheel speed sensors are not the issue.. already replaced, and the bike runs a self diagnosis normally every start-up, when DTC and ABS are Enabled

- maybe the traction control or the ECU needs to be reset?
his answer: Adaptation values have all been reset, and checked on BMW Moss system several times. The traction control (dtc) was turned off for all starts. It makes No difference, in the way it acts on starts.

What do think the problem is

I guess itt depends if you have fuel management or not. The stock ECU limits the power in first gear substantially.

You can probably tune first gear to have the full 180 horses with a power commander / bazzaz / etc, in that case a launch off the limiter would be suicide (for your clutch, not for you).

Maybe they're still tweaking it, but from the videos I've seen with launch control in action, the launches don't look that impressive. The videos could be deceiving though.

This guy and whomever is working on it are totally missing the setup of the Rev. limiter system.

not possible.. the ignition cuts even harder the higher rpm you go.. and more clutch slip. doens't get you through the ignition cuts.. you just leave the line slower with ignition wheelies.. I wish I filmed an attempted launch at 10k plus.

I usually launch most bikes at 3/4 of bike rpm. Some bikes launch best at Redline too.. just clutch all the way till wheel speed reaches rpm speed.

Rob Egan from Brooklin Cycle gave it a try too.. notice it gerks (ignition cut?) 2-3 times before it lets you go! The higher the rpm. the worse it cuts.. BMW no launch | Facebook
