The bag moves forward if you tighten the straps too much. They should have no slack but not be too tight. I am happy with the bag since I followed these instructions. However, the straps do rub against the painted tail section. I did not realize that initially und now one edge has paint loss (just the edge).
The BMW tail bag is approved for speeds up to 130mph. And here in Germany you drive that speed daily. I wonder if other manufacturers trust their luggage at this speed.
