The locking mechanism is a gimic that is not needed with the BURSIG Stand!
We have been selling tons of these Stands and the fitment is so snug that there's absolutely no danger of the motorcycle slipping off!.

I highly recommend looking at our BURSIG Instruction Videos as they give you a real detailed insight on how the mechanism of the Stand works. It also shows you the bushing that is being installed.

Unfortunately they sent me a front stand with an incorrect thread on 1 of the wheel castors....I did not get a replacement and the bike on the stand until Saturday night.

I will take a pic when I get back in town and post it.
