It looks like it's a common problem after Bren Tune, I've been told that something is wrong with my ECU , (I bought my bike brand new no one else had access to my ECU)spent two months sending back and forth my ECU , waisted 200$ on postage and resets with the dealer , and at the end got my messed up ECU back with a refund, Just for the flash not the postage of course, had to send my bike to the Dealer, they right away spotted the problem, and told me that they need to get new clean files from BMW mottared, and rewrite my ECU ($400) dealers time. So In total -$600 and three months of headache and down time

Thats a lot of time and money, as it is I've spent something like $1300CAD (Yes I know, the exchange rate is pathetic lol)on the Android device and really don't want to spend any more to get it to work. So far the good thing is that the issue goes away when I revert to the original map (its stored in my Android device) and do the TPS reset; seems to work every time. BT sent me a test tune file after I reported the issue and I ran it today with the same results, so I've let them know and waiting to hear back. I've even used the timer on my phone to make sure I hold the throttle in each key position (on and off) for 15 seconds, BT's instructions say 20 seconds and I've tried that first. Hoping they can help..

I did read somewhere that you can write to the ECU only so many times, so far I've done it 5 or 6 times; Any other down sides?
Its really not a fun process. I'm always kinda nervous to see all the lights go on and wonder if it'll finish properly. Still, I'm hoping I dont have to do that many more times. To be honest the bike runs just fine without the tune even after the cat removal. I didn't have any complaints. But after reading what everyone has experienced with the BrenTune tune I wanted to take advantage of it too.

I'm in touch with BT; they sent me 3 new test tunes to try out and the nameless person sending me the files assured me that they'll pinpoint the fault.

As for doing TPS reset for every mode, I've never heard that before. But I only ride in sport mode and did the TPS reset in that mode to no avail. I'll try their test tunes next saturday and see how it goes. fingers, toes, arms, legs and other things crossed..

i got the rexxer tune, and yes under load it pops the check engine light and puts the engine into limp mode only short term solution is to cycle power. but it continually happens.

only things i have done since the bike was last working correctly was add a full titanium arrow exhaust (i dont see why that would cause this issue) and the rexxer tune (what im assuming is the problem).

That does not work. You will need a GS911 to reset adaptations.
