Registration in california : how much per year ?

Im trying to find out how much the registration costs per year in California , for a 2011 S1000RR ... Thanks

mine was about 180 dlls but since i only track the bike, i registered it as Non-operation and paid 18. ride safe!

I don't know the exact formula, but the registration cost is directly related to the reported Purchase Price (and date) of the vehicle. I pay around $100 per year.

you need to have a valid california drivers license first.
and you won't be able to drive your bike in Canada with a California plate and a Canadian driver's license.

for your question i have noooo idea

and maybe you should check also if the bike need to be insured to have it registered

Are you sure ? Because thats exactly what i did last summer and plan to do next summer.... But ive never been arrested ..... They dont bother me

The bike is registered to a friend in Cali but i ride it here in Qc,Canada With my canadian drivers license ...

of course it is different if the bike does not belong to you.
then yes you can ride the bike registered and plated in california, and have a canadian drivers license.

California DMV Renewal for a 2011 S1000RR - $172.00

As far as the initial registration fees check the link that was supplied above. I did that before I purchased. It is pretty accurate.

That is a lot of money to register a motorcycle, but hell, somebody has to pay for all the free crap they give out in Cali.
