153 miles on the clock now. I have to say that this bike is a hell of a machine. Uncomfortable as hell, but who cares? The handling and power, even while restricted, is amazing. I still am doing back flips @ the brakes as well.

Uncomfortable? It's fine! You'll get used to it. Plenty of forum members have done big rides on their 2010 and 2011 bikes. I did an 1100 mile round trip to the far north of Scotland in freezing temperatures and apart from the cold it was a piece of cake!

Enjoy the new ride

The discomfort is mostly due to the tilt to reach the bars. My wrists and my neck. Not a big deal. I'm acclimating nicely. I put another 53 miles on today and I love this bike more and more with every mile.

Now that I passed 186 miles, I'm able to rev up to 7k rpm. All I can say is WOW!!!!! This bike is ridiculously fast and strong. The Busa was a beast, but this is in another category... stay tuned.

are you more the 6' tall?

i have above mentioned discomfort as well, however, as strange as it may seem, when i go to the track with a suit, it does not appear on the track.

i guess this bike is to meant to move around, not at a steady motion for a long period of time...like a sport touring...

btw, wait till after 600 miles, dealer lifts the 9K limiter, you will feel like going warp speed after 9K on this bike!! enjoy and congrat again...!!
