Alice's On Any Given Sunday
This is what it looked today (Jan. 29, 2012) at Skywood Trading Post (STP), which across the street from the famous Alice's Restaurant.
Looking North
Looking South
East side of parking lot (to the left of this was full of bikes as well
I never made it across the street where Alice's actually is.

Yeah, there was a large pack of squids that came in the same time I did. I had the only S1000RR that day, but once I was up there with 6 or 7 others, which was a group ride from a not so far away BMW dealership. I didn't see anything worth mentioning as far as exotics today, expect for this:
Hard to tell, but it seemed like a real Superbird, as I've never seen someone fake one of these.

Would be great if you set up a meet/ride of SoCal forum members. With enough notice & a centralized meet location from what i can tell, a good 25-35 members will show up?

Sal, I like the idea, not just a little, but a lot.
However, with my background, experience, age and knowing better then that a bunch of hot shot guys on liter bike "could" turn into a testosterone induced sausage festival, pretty rapidly.
I've seen so many, let's rip $hit up, or let's see if we can blast through at 140+ post here alone that I would feel like crap if I set-up something and someone got hurt. Believe, I would love to have a nice meet where everyone showed up, had a great time and minded their p's & q's, nothing would make me happier.
Thanks for the idea, let me put some thought into this and see what I can shake out, maybe we could do a meet or meet greet only and if people wanted to ride off from there that could work out nicely. I may be willing to lead a group for those that wanted to ride at pace and keep everything in check.
Thanks for the suggestion and I apologize for sounding like an old crabby patty.

You make a lot of valid points. While its true that when a group of riders get together, their combined IQ drops by 95% lol, i believe that it will be different in this case! We have a vastly more experienced/mature pool of riders here than most any other motorcycling venue out there!
It can be organized with "rules" that everyone abides by & a "ride captain" of sorts! Food for thought as you have already stated!

I'd show up! I've been wanting to try Alice's. Just say when! BTW I'm old and can behave myself if need be!
