I took the OEM covers off and put this one on in its place. No real problems installing it, just follow the directions. Hardest part is trying to get the staple gun in all the right places to nail down the fabric on the underside.

I took mine to an Auto Upholstery place, they took the OEM covers off.

I have a guy that will install it. My question was an I better off installing in top of oem of take oem off.
I am not sure how the cover was designed and it would be loose if I take oem cover off.

I just installed mine today on my ZX-10R. I put it over the top of the original seat cover - it fits perfectly and looks great.

If the instructions say to install it over your existing, I'd just do that then. When I picked mine up, they were just coming out for the S1 and the instructions (if I recall) said to remove the old.

Installed over existing. The OEM are rubber so I guessed they somehow waterproof the cousin. I might be wrong. The luimotos are not waterproof.

That was my reasoning. Plus if for whatever reason I don't want them, I can just rip them off and ::tata:: back to OEM.
