Default first service done!!!

DAMN!! after not being able to go above 9k rpms, and then getting that rev limiter off, 4k extra rpm really make this thing that much more a beast!

As soon as I rolled my bike out of dealership after limiter was removed it started raining, heavy... so... bike in rain mode and 40-55 mph all the way home... was able to ride it only couple of days later... it was worth waiting...

My 2012 is supposed to be in (maybe) next week...what is the deal with break in? They have it rev limited? Don't trust the rider to break it in properly? That's funny as I was just laying in bed the other night thinking about how I have always believed in very conservative break ins and this bike would be no different.

ya when u buy it, they put a limit on ya so only 9k rpms for the first 600 miles give or take a few! then after that 600 u get all 14.5k rpms of bad ass-ary! bmw just wants to make sure that every thing goes good and they also change the oil and make sure everything is in working order... apparently there is a recall on the coolant cap, that they fixed on the spot, they r pretty much take great care of ya!
