Default Late 2012's in OZ

Ive been told by my dealer that my bike wont be under my nuts till the end of march / early april. Production has been pushed back 2-3 weeks for whatever.
I confirmed this with another dealer aswell.
My dealer is getting a demo this week. Demo run is different to production run, as in not for sale as such.
You may get an early one if your dealer can release the bike for a sale.....
Not in my colour (black)
This just pisses me right up the wall.

FYI, I was told that OZ spec bikes are built on a different production line (may not be a different line in its physical essence) to that of overseas bikes.

Any aussies or international brothers out there with the same drama, you may shed a tear with me...:-(

that sucks bro, I have a friend on youtube named imusbbored76 in Australia that wrecked his last month and is waiting on a new bike. I dont want to tell him that it will be march or april, it will piss him off! Im think that mine wont get here until later this month. Honestly I would pull my deposit if it would take that long and just get a triumph daytona 675r if it was going to take that long as im bikeless and may deploy sometime later. Anyways check out his channel hes got lots of great videos of the roads there.

Yeah dont break his heart if he's bike less. I gotta run still on my 08 ZX10 which is a good steed, but the ****ers are just daggling a carrot as far as im concerned.
I was told they take like 8 weeks to ship on a boat to OZ.
BMW should be flyin them in on a Herc just to keep us punters happy, caused im that pissed i want to kill a kitten!!! (pun)

I can tell the only RR's in Australia have either been allocated for media or the race team.

I may have ridden a 2012 yesterday...well, actually, I did. It handles a bit better than the standard 2011, but I have Ohlins front/rear as well as a 28mm triple so it didn't handle better than what I have...it does rock though.

Where it felt much better was with power delivery. I had it in Race model and it had better mid range torque and wheelies were dealt with much more smoothly.

It's worth the wait...trust me! :-)

Well there are quite a few available that are 2012. For instance I found the black one near my home.
I personally prefer the red one.

Pro Cycles Hornsby has a Black one. I have asked them to get me a Red Colour. If they can then its good otherwise I'll go for the Black one.
Do you want me to take a photo of it as an "evidence"?

I work at Frasers in Concord, we have uncrated 3 2012 models all have been sold, I believe the customers put a deposit on the bikes before release, we don't have any demonstrators

Wow, I feel your pain all the way from Orlando, Florida, USA...I spun my wheels for 3 weeks ("my" Red one arrived 2 weeks ago with me ready to pick it up only to be told...oops demo), then it looked like I might have to wait for one being built in Germany, but they got me one out of the warehouse/port in New Jersey...just got my vin today. And I was about to have a stroke having had to wait 3 weeks...can't imagine 3 months. Well look on the bright side, go to the beach and google all the babes in bikinis...it is summer there, right??? That should take your mind off scooters.
