Default Just got home from Progressive IMS in Wash D.C.

I went to the IMS show in Washington DC today and saw the 2012 S1000RR in red and white! It is GORGEOUS! I think it is my favorite color after my own 2011 Thunder Grey. Battley cycles had the BMW on display. I also got to see the Ducati 1199 Panigale in person at the show. EQUALLY GORGEOUS! I think I may get a Panigale to go with my S1K,provided the Duc doesn't have any problems with reliability. The 2012 Honda CBR looked really nice as well.
I stopped past the Arai booth also and saw their $4000.00 carbon fiber Corsair V helmet. It is a work of art! I ordered a Corsair V in black frost to go with my S1K. I took a few pics of the bikes and helmet with my iPhone but I don't know how to post them on here

Agreed. Saw the 2012 S1000RR at the Battley booth. It was very nice in person. Thinking very strongly about trading in my K12S for the S1000RR this year.

How was the show? Besides the bike manufactuers what vendors were there. I want to look at helmets and gear, just wondering who was there. Going to the show next weekend in NYC.
Thanks

It was actually my first moto show I ever went to and it was nice. Most of the top manuf. were there and there was a lot ot vendors.Arai,Shoei,HJC,Schuberth,Bazazz,Racetech etc. They also had tech seminars on suspension set up,helmets, riding techniques etc My 3 main reasons for going were to see the 2012 BMW S1000RR, Ducati 1199 Panigale, and to get a new Arai helmet. All those needs were met

I was there as well but I only have 2 reasons to go. To see the 2012 S1000RR and the new 1199 Panigale. There is another show on February 10 - 12 in Timonium. Bob's BMW will be there.

My wife and I went to the DC show this past Sunday. The B/R S1000RR was nice. So was the Motus! I hope they sell a hell of a lot of those!

She checked out some new bikes. She rides a FZ1, but she isn't certain she wants to stay with it. Kawasaki had a couple of attractive bikes.

The show was smaller than the last few I have visited, probably due to sales still being down. Still, a Sunday looking at bikes and such is a good Sunday.
