Default ok, now what

I got my brand spanking new 2011 s1000rr home today. I'll be testing my patience waiting for the 1 or 2 good days to break her in. But what else?

So far my shopping list only has the Scorpio RLINK alarm on it. I've never been a fan of loud pipes, prefering the stock can on my F4i over the TBR on my F3. So s1000rr is already loud enough as is.

Any other suggestions while I wait for at least mid-40s and free time to get really lost?

I'm in Philly. Right now our weather is like our teams: sometime great, sometime horrible but never predictable. Last week we had 50s. Today, barely 30.

Pipe stays like it is: subdued. All bikes scream if ya rev her high enough

How do you like the Rlink?
Do you have the wire harness for the BMW? Was there any additional wirering that was needed?

Get some frame sliders, case covers, axle sliders and the such. Will save you lots of $ if (and I hope you don't but most of us do) you ever go down.

Best mod you can get is an electric heated jacket. $200 will make rides most comfortable.
