Default Ducati 1199 Pinagale

Hi, I was thinking of getting the 2012 S1000 (I have the 2011) and then thought it might be fun to have a twin. The Duc seems like it could be pretty nice. I would likely keep the S1000.

Any thoughts about the Duc 1199 Pinagale?

Thanks

Andy

Super short stroke. Makes the BMW seem like a stroker motor. Going to be interesting to see whether the traditional Ducati torque delivery power curve is going to be retained

I would get it, and still keep your S1000rr.... Trust me.... You can never have to many motorcycles.... I own three of them.

I would want solid red with the tri-color features. It has definitely crossed my mind as a second bike.

If you can afford both that would be a great pair to have in the garage!

Do it... I have the Tricolore on order; due to be delivered late March/early April... I'm keeping my S1000RR as my daily vehicle and for long trips, the Panigale will be my Weekend Bike/Track toy...

I am wondering about the comfort factor. Is that the same, better or worse (less comfortable) than the S1000RR. Also, is there likely a problem with parts if something goes wrong?
