Default Easy way to remove stock alarm?

I never use it - can I take out the unit and get some extra space under the seat?

Yes but you will need to close off the alarm cable with the end cap

Your dealer will have spare plugs-removed from every new bike when alarm fitted.Just remember to switch on the ignition when you remove the alarm,as per the manual.

Where in the manual does it tell us how to remove the OE alarm. I unplugged and removed mine and it threw a code my dealer had to clear. Now it's back in and the code cleared but I want to remove it. Any help?

Sorry, I havent got that far in my manual. I never thought I'd say this, but Ive been too damn busy to finish it.

Does my 2012 have a "stock alarm". If so, what does it do? Or how does it function?

I didnt even read anything in the manual. I just unclipped mine and pulled it out. Stuck the harness to the side. Now I can fit a hat under my seat....
