Default Goodbye BMW S1000RR, Hello...........

Well...call me crazy but...

I've wanted one ever since 2008, but for one reason or another never made the purchase. Now after years and years, and after selling my 2010 BMW S1000RR (to forum member Jacks996), I am the proud owner of a 2010 Ducati Hypermotard EVO SP.

The BMW was without question the best bike I have ever owned or ridden. It does anything you ask without question and with german precision. But alas (I had a Ducati 1098 previously) I found myself missing a chunk of personality that the BMW lacked.

The Hypermotard (on paper) looses in about every single category you can come up with.....except one....FUN FACTOR. From Digital back to Analog...this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

We had a beautiful December day here in Colorado in the mid 50's and I was able to log 90 miles on the new machine.

Two different types of bikes...do us all a favour and get out of the way when you get overtaken by the blokes riding S1's.

congrats on the new ride, the only Duc that currently interests me is the
MS12, just how strange has the world gotten when for a track weapon you want a BMW and for touring a Ducati???

Wish I could have one of each of a lot of bikes... that'd be on the list for sure or something darn close. That bike would do REALLY well at our local track (South of you).

Have fun out there, maybe we'll pass each other on one of my annual trips through Colorado during the summers.
