Default Went in for service, left with rear spools?

I went in for my first annual service a few weeks ago. I looked down today and noticed I had rear spools installed on my swing arm... I didn't ask for it, they just, put them on there?

Is this normal? I'm not complaining

They probably forgot to remove them after doing the service. They probably installed them to check adjust the chain or something else, or to just have it on the lift.
You can be nice and give them back.

Viperclaw is right. This happened to me as well. I got a phone call asking if they could have them back as they belonged to the mechanic, so I dropped them off. Be good and return them.

dont just pull em off and take em back, call and ask about it, maybe you were billed for them, maybe you need to take them back or maybe you can just buy them from them. the bike should have rear spools on it anyways. dont try to get em for free but why make the trip if you can just pay for em and the mechanic can grab some off the shelf. but then I live over 100 miles from my dealer I would rather spend over 200 miles riding time on the back roads and not schlepping down into and back out of Houston.
