Default Fitting a Kriega tailpack

Has anyone tried a Kriega tailpack (say, the US-20) on their S1000RR?

Given the unusual shape of the pillion seat, I wondered if it would fit. Any pictures of one fitted would be fantastic, thanks.

I bought the OEM tank bag from the dealer and a cool tail bag for the rear the tank bag is all i needed but since it was BLACK FRIDAY i grabbed both ...the cycle guys tail bag /$69/ looks great and makes for a real seat if 2 up but i dont care that it open full expand or closed , nothing in between but it does hold alot it seems .the OEM tank bag was $177 on the sale day.

No problems fitting the US-20. I used it on my bike a few times.

I've got the Kriega, and I have to say that the shape of the passenger seat on the S1000RR is not ideal for it. It works, and if it's not too loaded the pack just conforms to the shape, but it could be better.

In some ways I really like the Kriega system. They're rugged and waterproof, and really simple to mount on the bike. They aren't very large, though, and if you stack them (for the 30L arrangement) the narrow, peaked seat on the BMW isn't your friend.

related but off topic, my Kriega 35 backpack is GREAT! Hands down my favorite backpack for riding. For a tail pack, I went with the BMW tail pack, and for a tankbag, I went RKA.

I used a US20 with 2 US10's strapped to it. Due to the pointy nature of the rear seat, the bags tipped to one side and rubbed a section of paint about 3" by 3".

Wont be using them again.

Godzilla - you're a star, thanks for that warning. If I get one, looks like some paint protection film might be a good idea.

As do I - I've got a R25 that's brilliant. Just concerned about the tailpack and the pillion seat suiting one another
