Default Installed radar detector mount

I just installed the radar detector mount from Y chrome customs and I am thrilled with the craftsmanship of it. I will post pics of it tonight. Installed it in about 20 minutes. I can even use it to mount my gopro camera. pic from website added.

Looks good. I think I installed mine the "other way" so that it is tilted to support an Escort IQ (Navi/RD) instead of flat to support a Valentine.

I really like mine. CrazyAxe did some good work there!

How much do these cost and where did you buy it from?

Man, the site is *really* slow today. It's always one of the slowest sites I visit, but today is just painful.

anyway, OP check out: Welcome Y Chrome Customs!

VerrücktAxe will take good care of you!

Good looking mount, do you mind posting more pics from different angles?
Does it block the view of instrument cluster with a device mounted on it?

Default Y Chrome accessory/radar mount

Thanks, guys, glad you're enjoying them. ychrome has more pic's, design features, a dowloadable install manual, and paypal buynow button to purchase. i tried to tuck it in as far forward as possible and still be able to look down to see my speed, etc. If you get it and don't like it, i'll refund the full price of the order, but don't worry, you can keep the poster of the blonde on the s1k that i'll send with it. Here's a youtube video below showing installation, final look, and the system paying for itself. (first 30 sec is book ad)

RRrider, am i understanding that you mounted the vertical twisted 180 degrees so it's more like a display panel for your navigation? interesting, hadn't thought of that.

yes exactly...I have an Escort IQ which is a Navi (or GPS for the Americans, or satnav for the brits on the forum) and a Radar Detector. Therefore I wanted the display facing me, so indeed I flipped it 180 degrees. Works great.

It does cover a bit of the display...I have to move my head around a little to see if the orange out of gas light is on, but that hasn't bothered me at all, as I can move my head around a little if I want

I am tall and for me it does not block the instruments I will post other pics tomorrow, it is offset to the right a little so the key is unobstructed
