Not sure if I'm allowed to share this but...I was just sent an AMAZING PDF from a local SoCal BMW dealership & wanted to share it with all you 2012 info seekers. I took a few screenshots so you can see...
Just amazing info here. ENJOY!!

There is nothing in those PDF's that is confidential. Now, if you have invoice or dealer cost information that would be worth posting. Actually, back in 2010 I did find a list of all accessories with dealer cost information.
That akrapovic silencer for $1105, has 51.5% markup.

Just sharing new info bud. Thanks for clearing it up,..I didn't know if it would be bad to post or not..as it was meant for the salespersons eyes not the customer. I may not agree with the pricing either, in fact, I don't. It's just nice to see the official options/dealercosts/comparisons/details & such. Like me, I thought you guys would enjoy seeing all the facts spelled out on the official document. Parhaps I was too excited about it.

Got this off pages 18-20 off a PDF for salespeople...
DESCRIPTION_______________ Part Number _______ MSRP -- Dealer Net
HP Race Cover Kit_______________ 77 31 8 520 178 _____ 75.50 -- 49.83
HP RACE POWER KIT
HP Race Titanium Exhaust System __ 77 11 8 521 685 ____ 2615.00 -- 1725.90
+ Control Unit__________________ 13 61 8 521 664 _____ 868.42 ---- 599.21
+Enabling Code for KIT __________ 13 61 8 522 450 _____ 960.66 ---- 480.33
RACE CALIBRATION KIT
HP Race Calibration Kit ___________ 77 53 8 522 208 _____ 149.95 ------ 98.97
+Race Cal Kit Enabling Code _______ 13 61 8 522 449 ____ 2406.96 -- 1203.48
What is amazing to me is the price - and markups - for "enabling codes."
That's pure profit for both BMW (or maybe the race team that developed it) and the dealer...
You're looking at $4,444 (retail) or $2805 (minimum) for the race exhaust with ECU enabled...
Wanna fine-tune your Traction Control, etc? $2555 (retail) or $1300 (minimum).
These prices make BAZZAZ's Z-Fi TC unit VERY attractive... rider's discount has AWESOME pricing for us on it.

I liked it! thanks. heated grips would be nice! My hands got cold on my long ride over thanksgiving. I liked seeing the sales "positives and negatives" spelled out against the competition. Also I thought for 2012 they dropped the front sprocket to 16 from 17 but it looks like they didn't...rather they just added one more tooth to the back sprocket (45 instead of 44).

I had heard the same rumor (dropping a tooth up front), but hopefully with the boost in mid-range and the small gearing changing at the back will make for much better drive out of corners.

surprised they didn;t include Ducati 1199 in the comparison, unless they didn't have info at the time.
