Default Sargent Seat Welt Color

I have the light gray metallic bike. I'm looking to trim it in red.

Does anybody know which Sargent Seat welt color code matches the red of the fairing's S1000RR decal?

Thanks!

Default Welt Color

I would suggest that you call Sargent as ask them to send you the red color swatches. This way you can match to the color as you see it

Thanks for the reply. That's a good suggestion. I may end up having to do that.

I was just hoping someone already went though the process.

I also have the 2011 in light grey. I purchased a Sargent seat with the standard grey welt and it matches perfectly. Never thought of using any other colour.

I bet that looks pretty good. Has the welt discolored at all? I often ride in kevlar jeans and wonder if the blue dye would rub in to such a light color.

Do you have a pic?

BMW Welt: A-090 Ruby red

this is what I got. I called them up and they had just done the matching. It looks great and it is really comfortable (both for the longer rides as well as for the track/twisties).

great mod!
