According to BMW Motorrad Canada, the new 2010 S1000RR will arrive in Canadian showrooms in early 2010 with a manufacturer suggested retail price of CA$16,800. American pricing has yet to be announced, but at current rates, the Canadian price translates to US$14,428, which puts it around the price
Pete Brissette predicted on the Motorcycle.com Sidecar blog. European pricing was previously announced as 15,800 euros (US$22,021) but the Canadian price should be much closer to the American MSRP.
BMW also announced several available options (all prices in Canadian dollars):
- Race ABS - $1,250
- Race ABS with Dynamic Traction Control - $1,500
- Electronic Shift Assistant - $350
- Anti-theft alarm system - $250
The S1000RR will also be available in four colors: thunder grey metallic, acid green metallic, mineral silver metallic and the alpine white, lupin blue and magma red colors used by BMW Motorrad Motorsport World Superbike Championship riders Ruben Xaus and Troy Corser.
