So I have had my HP4 for a week now.. Put 600 miles on it
And had it at the track..
Had the 600 Mile service but for some reason the computer could not recognized
The vin on the bike thus for I still have the rec limiter/ governor
On. There is a ticket out to BMW and there working on it.
Just wondering if anyone else had encountered that issue.. Or any other for that fact..
I had a problem a little different.. The MOSS system over in Germany is twitchy... an Email from your dealer will straighten it right up. Took them an email and a day for my problem.

I used a gs-911 tool and was able to remove mine with it.
This tool also saw the vin as invalid.
I had to set up the date - and in this section of the gs-911 tool I was able to get it to accept my vin.
Then went back to remove rev limiter in another screen of the tool and it worked.
This is not a BMW tool.
If you know someone with a gs-911 tool they might do it for ya.
My girlfriend has a rare Mini cooper GP and when she went to do emissions, the ECU was stored with a VIN that looked something like WBAD000000999999
Had to go to the mini cooper dealer and they couldn't fix it. They had to contact corporate and still haven't figured out how to get that fixed.
2010BMR - I would be calling that dealership every day bugging them until they get that fixed for you. That is total B.S. in my opinion...
Ha ha well the dealership and I are really close and have an exceptions relationship. I work for the airlines and I'm out of town anyway so I'm sure it will get sorted out before I get back for the next track day
This is from the past weekend with the rev limiter
