Race Kit Installed 10.6 LBS lighter

Installed the Race Kit today and as promised I weighed both exhausts off the bike, The dealer said the Race kit weighed 11.1 Lbs and I weighed the stock exhaust at 21.7 lbs most of it is in the Cat and the exhaust valve. The can is a bit lighter as well. I also put a tinted integrated signal and brake light on. Looks good with the tinted shield and carbon accessories. And par for the course was the server was down in Germany so I couldn't get my enabling code for the control unit. So they are dropping the bike off tomorrow.

Are the header tubes & collector sets the same size?
The core of the muffler on HP might be stainless & Ti on the race muffler.

I didnt get to check the diameter although I have read else where the race kit had a digger diameter... Then again I don't believe any press on this bike anymore... Yeah Thats probably where the weight in the can is because it sure looks the same....

What will you use to illuminate your license plate and where/how do you plan to mount it? Integrated lights won't pass the annual inspection we have here for some reason.

interesting, looks like the hp footpegs on the hp4 are different to the ones you buy from bmw, on the bmw hp pegs there is a mounting lug on the r/h side for the stock muffler/or the short akra muffler the hp4 hasnt got that lug so is harder to fit short muffler if you wanted to, i guess the lug would have looked out of place, nice attention to detail

I wonder if this will fit our systems.

I might order and try it. It's about $400 so it might be worth a shot to save 10lbs.
I would have loved to hear a seat of the pants or dyno before and after on your HP system,ECU, MAP!

If my bike would get here I am going to try this option. I have checked around with a few Akra venders to get pricing on the mid pipe. I will use the mid pipe off my friends EVO to check. If this works I could order a 100 of them.
It would be great to loose 10lbs. with this & 4-5 more from lithium battery.
This bike could weigh 425 wet! I have a few other mods in the works to get it doing to 415lbs.
Until a few days ago it didn't bother me not having it yet. The more I see them it's getting to me.
