Ay reason you didn't go with the carbon can? Just trying to stay true to the hp4 scheme?

Were talking about losing 10-20 pounds on our bikes, it's going to cost pretty good $$$$$ to do it. I've had a look at my obese body and figure I can lose 20lbs and it's going to pay me, no more junk food and I'm going to start working out again. When I get to my target weight then I'll reward myself with the lighter battery and the link pipe if it does fit. Although with the cat gone I'll probably smell like a 67 chevelle again.

I will check the brand and see, yeah it looks pretty cool. I'm probably gonna fabricate something for the tag Hybrid the Rizoma kit and cut half of it off. Well I live in PA but my bikes and cars are registered at my house in Florida so passing inspection will not be an issue since we dont have inspections. I was gonna try the mid pipe route as well but the problem with that is the control unit wont adjust for the increased flow so a PC or bazzaz will be needed and from what the email they showed me from Germany the control unit unit is where everything is the makes the real power. The exhaust was designed with the map from the control unit in mind. Yes the HP comes with a Ty exhaust but its a street legal version and you can definitely tell by the quality of the welds on seems and tabs that the race kit had a litle more time put behind it. If someone can dyno a stock one that be awesome, I had to keep the limiter on for the 600 miles because I'm already in a sticky situation with the warranty my luck I would dyno it this week and it would grenade then i'd be F*%#d... My friend said he would knock the 600 miles out for me if its half decent weather here...

This seems off to me.

The Akra website says that there should only be a 1.8lbs difference between the two pipes. Should be 12.9. Seems a lot more likely based on the following:

That's 2.9lbs less than stock.

The rims are 5lbs less than stock.

The battery is 2.4 less than stock.

That's the 20.3 weight loss right there.

A look at the schematics of the 2, every part is exactly the same except that midpipe piece. That one piece is 10.6lbs more? It weighs as much as the entire Race exhaust?

Well that and they dont make a carbon can for the BMW Akr's. But honestly How can you put anything carbon next to that carbon fiber work on the bike... Don't get me wrong Akr makes amazing products but it wont look 1/2 as nice next to the BMW stuff...just look at the quality from the heel guard or tip of the exhaust to the BMW carbon fiber parts. From what the dealer told me its not Limberger that makes the carbon its a company that manufactures the carbon fiber for Formula 1. I just don't think it would look as nice even if it was an option.

The dealer weighed the NEW exhaust, I myself weighed the old exhaust and those numbers are exact, weighed each piece individually in grams. One of us might need to get a new scale. I used a US Postal scale. I just weighed everything and it came to 5560 grams which is 12.25 lbs, you were absolutely right... My mistake... I am half burned out... but all joking aside I have slight dyslexia and dysgraphia, I thought it was 21 instead of 12. so its around 2.5 lbs... just dont eat that day and we'll be back at even.... 8-) btw the Cat weighs 4.74 lbs which makes no sense to me because there is no way that Ty mid pipe on the race kit weighs 2.2 lbs, should be less than 1/2 pound.... I dunno I give up, whoever asked me to weigh the two, dam you...
