She's here this week.. I don't want to ride her until I install a few parts I ordered and I don't have a way to pick it up with my FJ, so I want to buy a towing device.. Does anybody have experience with the Tote? Can you name the up and downsides of it?
Or should I get a 1-2 bike trailer?

If the moto-tote is the one that goes in the hitch and carries the bike on the back sideways I would not trust it they ok for dirtbikes but a BMW bike I would not risk it, uhaul rent trailers for 20-30 bucks

If you don't have a buddy with a pickup (I thought everyone drove pickups in Texas?) why take the chance, hire a company to deliver it. Or get it arranged through the dealer.
Oy vey these HP4 owners are going to be some prisses.
Hey I may take offense to that! Whom would prefer to have the break in miles be 200 miles of straight highway cruising in the rain, to go with a flat spot on that 200 rear tire? ;p
This is how I carried my old bike for 2 years to tracks and/or other service related locations. I brought my HP4 home on the same system. It's rated up to 600 lbs and it has never failed me.
The totes scare the Hell out of me but honestly, EVERY SINGLE PERSON I've talked to who has one talks about years of use with them and raves about them. . .
