Yeah I think you have to view it on a comp... so it says it has to be run on 95-98 octane fuel... lol we don't have anything higher then 93 at normal pumps besides VP or Klotz... Ride with octane booster?
has anyone else been checking out the bmw motorycle website, if you select the hp4 it has changed 3 times now in about 2 weeks.
I went from saying the comp came with hp carbon plate holder, to nothing now and then says 'shown with optional equipment"
hmmm, wonder if all our voices are being heard from the dealers and now they are backtracking.
No leds, no hp plate bracket, and the thing about the numbered triple trees only being for comp model, my my how everything has changed
At least the suspension still has DDC.
I already dumped the huge plate bracket and rear turn
signals. I do wish only comps had the numbered triple tree..

Its insane I posted that a while ago about the plate holder, I thought I was going nuts when i couldn't find it again. I know today and tomorrow is the meeting so maybe something else will be addressed but the email from the rep said BMW knows customers are asking questions. I agree the badge number and the plate holder they should have stuck with. Led's would've been nice. My friend owns the dealership where i got my bike and he is at the meeting so I will most likely get the unabridged truth which will be either BMW will make good on the accessories or your beat be happy with what you got.
The carbon badge carrier was originally listed for the comp model. The led signals and consecutively numbered triple were for every HP4 in all the literature I have read over the last few months.
Here's a US release. No mention of led lights now but describes how fork bridge numbering is determined for all HP4's and also mentions carbon badge carrier for comp.
