HP4 Lightweight Battery

Could someone get some pics & weight the battery from the HP4?

It's just a smaller lead-acid battery. Maybe a YTX7 series Yuasa equivalent, but that's speculation. It still isn't in the league of a Li-Ion for weight.

I saw it, looked like a small lawn tractor battery, 6 amp hours? So that's where some of the weight savings come from.

BMW has a battery in the HP catalog with a orange top that's listed "race battery".
The HP4 doesn't seem to have it.
I will be getting a lithium battery of some kind to save somemore weight.

Dealer says it's AGM, and it looks like an AGM..................... Who will be the first to pull it out and read the label?

I never read anything that said it was lithium, just "Lighter 7 Ah battery".
My '09 CBR came with this setup from Handa. I replaced it with a lithum. It's one of the cheapest weight savings you can do.
I found this HP Battery on set 4 photos.
