For riders looking for an extra level of refinement, the is the HP4 with Competition Package. It's loaded with additional HP components: HP brake lever, HP clutch lever and the HP rider footrest system. The HP belly pan, HP license late holder and the HP fuel tank trim are made entirely of carbon fiber. It also features Racing blue aluminum forged wheels and a sponsor sticker kit.

The HP4 Competition also has the consecutively numbered fork bridge engraving with HP logo. This makes each and every machine unique. The Competition Package will be highly exclusive with very limited numbers available.
I assume thats license plate holder, I could be wrong but mine doesnt look like anything special and definitely doesn't look like Carbon fiber... and the numbers are not consecutive, not that really matters...

I was quoted $50 plus tax on the spools!! Supposedly the standard spool will work, but these are better. They are beveled or something. Come in three color. Red, silver and titanium.

I believe they are the ones that Gilles makes. I actually have a left over set... They have a hard plastic collar that spins. recessed bolts. They are very nice... but more importantly where are our carbon fiber license plate frame holders?

I'm sorry but I just came from the BMW dealer and look at both hp4 to see how they compare both bikes look great but the rims are not anodize they are powder coated metallic blue they look and feel with the same shine and texture as the black rims have on the regular s1000rr

All the HP4 wheels come with angled valve stems? Called my dealer this past Tuesday to find out when I might see my bike. Also asked for the third time if they would please provide a trade value on another bike I have. As of yet no word, think they are clueless

WTF is going on with them? Seems like a rush job to get them out or the companies they outsourced with had problems meeting demands from BMW

How can you tell if is powder coated? According to the media reports the black ones are anodized?!?

Yes the sales manager told me black ones are anodized the blue ones powder coated! To me I think the black ones would have look better glossy black like the regular 2012 BMW s1000rr
