Congrats to everyone with an HP4 STD or COMP model. I am jealous lol...I also love seeing all the awesome pics of your bikes and hearing about the new things of this bike. I hope BMW makes more in the near future. I tried securing one here in Alaska and the whole state would be getting only one. Somebody had one secured. I even tried putting up three quarters of the whole cash for the bike and they said BMW is not able to send one more to the state. Oh well, I tried let's just hope at my next duty station I can get hopefully a model as sophisticated as this if BMW will make more.
No bike yet.... BUT I do have my HP race kit on the way, exhaust, control unit, and enabling code... I can always stare at it if my bike never makes it....
I've never seen anyone with the Race Kit. Who can program these? Isn't this over-kill - vs a Power Commander V.
Forgive my ignorance, & I'll read up on it tonight, but for a bike like this with just an exhaust is this too much?
