I want an HP4 but all dealers are sold out. How do I get one?

I got a 2012 S1000RR and i'm no way getting rid of it. I love it.
What I am getting rid of is that damn panigale I own.

So I want to buy an HP4 loaded with every option it comes with. I called 3 dealerships in my area and they are all sold out.

Am I SOL?
There is got to be a way to get one. Please please please give me some advice on how to get one. I'm already kicking myself in the butt for not ordering one sooner. I didn't realize how limited production it will be.

You may be paying a premium price from the first owner.

You could also try calling dealers that aren't close then have the bike shipped to you. It's an option if someone has one available but either way its going to be more.

I think what the dealers are telling you is that they have deposits on the units coming in. I'm sure someone will back out and they will put you next in line. I wouldn't worry too much about not getting one. Same thing happened when the 1199's were to be released. Every dealer you called said sold out, a few weeks later you couldn't sling a dead cat without hitting one.

as for quantities I'm pretty sure its more in the high hundreds.

They only made 2500 for the whole world from what I read.

If you have a S1000rr and a 1199 that you just bought new and have only been riding a few months, Whats a thousand or more over retail to buy a HP4? Once you get all three I want a group photo. The only question I have is why buy a HP4 and keep a S1000rr? Kind of like buying a Porsche GT3 and keeping the Boxer for kicks

What are you going to do with both a 2012 and HP4?

Just wondering.
