I would just start calling every dealer in every state nearby (or far away) and see if you can get one or get on the list as a back up. I waited a couple weeks and I could no longer find one in my state and had to find one 2 states away to order. The competition models are going to be the ones a lot harder to come by.

I only got to ride it around my local neighborhood 4 about 5 minutes. It was the standard version not the competition 1. It's 1 of the bikes that's going to be used 4 the media to ride.

It had 35 kms on the clock so felt really new to ride. On top of that the rev restrictor is still on.

The finish is awesome! all of the panels lined up perfectly. I am glad that I ordered the comp version cause I felt the plastics didn't do the bike justice. Seriously the finish on this bike is amazing and anyone who is disappointed probably could not be pleased regardless.

Having an S1RR with ohlins suspension I already have fairly high standards. The bike handled similar to my S1RR through the corners but seemed to absorb bumps a little bit better given my suspension is pretty tight 4 the track. I didn't ride it enough to have an opinion on the DDC either way.

I also felt that the front sprocket could go down one tooth. I suspect that when the blike is run and the restrictor removed it will be a different machine and the current gearing may be fine.

This is an awesome bike though and I'm pretty happy I've ordered 1.

Good to hear. I ordered one (the comp) and will be driving 2 states away to get it, so I just want to make sure it is as good as I think it is. I am so excited for this bike I can't explain.

Dude....trust me, you should be very excited. I've also had a look at the comp version and it ****en rocks.
