WTB: S1000RR Wheels
Don't care how they look, as long as they hold a seal and aren't cracked or warped.

I thought that price was standard, what price are you looking for?

Lower than that. A set of forged HP4 wheels just sold for $1000 for the set, on this forum and those have zero miles on them.
i just want an extra set, to make swapping out at the track easier and more cost effective. i think the BMW fever has set in, by charging whatever you can get, not what they are worth. But lets be serous here, the OEM S1K wheels are no different than any other bike. so $550 for one wheel, used, is insane, for me. Then again, that may be the reason i only have one set.
But thanks again.

Tanks,
The hp4 rims sold for 1000+ a set of stock rims. So closer to 2k+.
OEM cost for wheels are 1900, so 1100 is about 60% for a used set. It's high I agree but if you check past sales on here and eBay that's standard.

I think the set of HP4 wheels that sold for $1K also included a trade of the person's original wheels... so basically $1K plus a set of standard wheels for the HP4's... I could be wrong, but I think that's what was going on.
The S1 wheels honestly haven't been selling for too cheap. I'm w/ya though... that would be too much for my blood too... I'm buying extra wheels for my race bike (ZX6R) at around $175-$225 for a rear and around $150-$200 for fronts... But there are many more ZX6R's on the road too. So maybe you'll have to wait a couple/few years for the prices to come down

$550 shipped for a rear one does sound like current market price... yes, it's not cheap, but those are market prices on the forum and eBay.

I thought the same. Coming off a gsxr where I could get a set to the door, with rotors, for $400. Then I went to NOLA and had to have at least a rear. I searched high and low. Nothing. I paid $1080 for a rear with rotor from the dealer. At cost.
Good luck with your search.
