False. BMW factory support will modify bars, tank, seat pad, subframe, tail fairing, and rearsets to accomodate Mr. Xaus. Looking at Ruben on the bike won't really be an accurate representation of how average joe six foot four will fit on the production bike.
I'm 6'4" and would also like to see how a big guy fits the bike. Thanks for getting the goods Snocompton. here's a few things I'd like details on if you can snap a shot and make a note:
+ There appears to be a composite shroud that fits from the top outside of the tank down to the center of the bike. As this is an impact zone, some manufacturers are making note of this and using frameslider type materials that will absorb some impact. This is very apparent on the new KTM, it literally has replaceable pucks. Can you take a look at what BMW has done here, and give us your impression on how "Stout" they are, and what BMW may have intended (cosmetic or functional)?
+ Also on the top front of the tank, there apppears to be a raised "bracket" sort of thing.... no guess as to what it is.....
+ Can you get good up close shots of the front and rear suspension adjustments including ride height, H/L comp, and reb in rear.
+ Can you get a snapshot of the rear axle, and make an assertion to ease of tire changes?
+ Can you please steal the key, fight off the BMW ambassador, take off like a madmen (for good measure, yell something like "Hahaha, bitches"), get her up to 150MPH, close your eyes and grab an assful of the front brake to test out the ABS? :-) ...... Did it work?
Thanks again man, we anxiously await your report!
