I installed an integrated tail with led lights and the 360 front led signals . I have tried many resistors but the bike does not like when add resistors . I ahould add it is a canadian Hp4 and the US already has led and this would not be a problem . Has anyone sucessfully added led lights and slow down the blink speed and remove the lamp error from the display ???
That's correct. You can change to LEDs and you can also turn off the lamp notification with a GS911. BUT if you use the BMW LEDs on the rear instead of that integrated thing, you would be OK too.
The tech at the dealer was the one who actually tried all the resistors. trying to match the stock signal . there is no option in the ecu for led signals either as rchase mentioned . the same resistors work in other BMW models and the S1000 has the option to select LED signals. it has boggled the dealer for a while now. he has sent off a request to BMW for a patch to fix the issue . just waiting for a response from them .
